In the mid-to-late 20th century, thousands of home artists bought plain white porcelain 'blanks' imported from prestigious European factories like Tirschenreuth. Artist V. Logan completed this peach motif in October 1967, transforming fine German porcelain into a personalized canvas.

The porcelain blank was manufactured by Porzellanfabrik Tirschenreuth in Bavaria, a renowned factory operating from 1838 until 1995. The hand-painted decoration is the work of V. Logan, an accomplished studio or china-painting hobbyist working during the height of mid-century porcelain painting clubs.
