Story
Launched in Guyana in 1955, Banks Beer became the toast of the Caribbean. These coasters captured the mid-century romance of tropical travel, invoking the spirit of buccaneers and explorers to sell a crisp, cold lager.
Maker / Origin
Banks DIH (D'Aguiar's Imperial House) is one of the Caribbean's oldest and most beloved food and beverage conglomerates, officially founded in Guyana in 1955 by Peter D'Aguiar. The brewery's signature lager, Banks, became a cultural icon of the West Indies, representing independence-era industrial pride.
Condition & Value
The coasters are in very good vintage condition with light edge wear and minor age-toning on the cardboard. There are no major water stains, pen marks, or tears, which heavily preserves their display value. Vintage breweriana from the Caribbean is highly collectible but niche.
