Overview
A charming three-piece set of English fine bone china nursery ware featuring the iconic 'Bunnykins' illustrations. The set includes a rare two-handled child's mug, a standard single-handle mug, and a cereal…
Story
The Bunnykins saga began in 1934 when Sister Mary Barbara Bailey, a nun and the daughter of Royal Doulton's general manager, started sketching rabbit characters to amuse her students.
Maker / Origin
Royal Doulton, founded in 1815, is one of England's most legendary ceramic houses, eventually earning a Royal Warrant.
Condition & Value
The pieces appear to be in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or heavy 'crazing' (fine spiderweb cracking in the glaze). The transfers are bright and intact. Excellent condition is vital for nursery ware, as these were often heavily used and damaged by children.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
