Story
In the 1920s, Carlsbad was the playground of European royalty. These glasses were crafted to catch the brilliant chandelier light of grand Bohemian spas, turning a simple drink into a theatrical, golden experience.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1857 by Ludwig Moser, this Bohemian workshop became the official glassmaker to Emperor Franz Joseph I and King Edward VII. Known as the 'Glass of Kings,' Moser rejected lead-crystal formulas in favor of a proprietary, ecologically friendly potassium-glass that allowed for incredibly sharp, jewel-like carving.
Condition & Value
The glasses appear to be in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips or cracks. There is very minor shelf wear on the starburst bases and slight, expected rubbing to the amber-flashed rims. Excellent condition for a complete set of six commands a premium.
