While likely crafted by studio artisans in Jingdezhen—the historic porcelain capital of China—the piece draws directly from 17th-century Transitional and Kangxi decorative traditions. Jingdezhen potters have spent centuries mastering the delicate balance of iron-red, cobalt blue, green, and aubergine enamels.
