Overview
A refined Swiss dress watch featuring a two-tone aesthetic with a gold-plated bezel and a crisp white Roman numeral dial.
Story
The serial number 53187665 etched on the back tells us this watch left the factory in Bienne, Switzerland, around 1991. While Omega is famous for going to the moon and the bottom of the ocean, the De Ville was designed for the 'city'—hence the name.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt, Omega has evolved from a small workshop into one of the most recognized luxury brands in the world.
Condition & Value
The dial and crystal appear to be in excellent, clean condition. There is some minor tarnish or wear visible on the gold-plated bezel near the 10 o'clock position, and the leather strap is a modern replacement. The case back engraving remains sharp, which is a very good sign of light historical wear.

Build on this identification
Layer in sold comps, value drivers, and venue guidance.
Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
