Story
In 1937, while much of America was still reeling from the Great Depression, the Cambridge Glass Company in Ohio was producing some of the most luxurious tableware the world had ever seen.
Maker / Origin
The Cambridge Glass Company, established in 1901, was the crown jewel of Ohio's glass industry, known for its 'near-cut' designs and an incredible palette of over 40 proprietary colors.
Condition & Value
The gold encrustation appears remarkably well-preserved in the photos, which is the primary value driver. Any significant wear to the gold or 'stacking scratches' in the clear centers would reduce the value by 30-50%. Excellent condition for gold-rimmed glass of this age is rare.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
