Overview
A striking fine bone china decorative plate featuring the iconic 'Queen of the Night' design by the legendary artist Erté.
Story
During the 1980s, a massive resurgence of interest in the 1920s Art Deco movement led to a high-profile collaboration between the elderly artist Erté and the Franklin Mint.
Maker / Origin
Romain de Tirtoff, known as Erté, was a Russian-born French artist who defined the visual language of the Art Deco era through his Harper's Bazaar covers and elaborate stage sets.
Condition & Value
The plate appears to be in excellent decorative condition with no visible chips, cracks, or crazing. The gold rim and central graphics look crisp and free of the 'rubbing' or wear often seen on these pieces. Excellent condition is expected for these cabinet pieces and is necessary to reach the top of the price range.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
