Overview
A refined 17-jewel manual-wind dress watch featuring a striking 'bark' textured finish and a deep blue gradient dial.
Story
In June 1973, this watch was produced at the Daini Seikosha factory during a period of intense internal rivalry known as the 'Seiko Grammar of Design' era.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1881 by Kintarō Hattori, Seiko transformed from a small clock repair shop in Tokyo to a global powerhouse that eventually challenged the Swiss watch industry.
Condition & Value
The case back and serial number (362898) are crisp and clear, which is excellent. There is some visible 'pocket lint' and minor oxidation around the lugs and clasp that a professional cleaning would easily resolve. The plating appears largely intact, though there is expected light thinning on the high-friction areas of the bracelet.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
