Overview
This is a vintage package of American Dream Products' patented E-Z Stitch hook-and-loop tape (Part 1: 5/8" knit loop for scroll rods, 3 yards). It was designed to replace the tedious traditional method of hand-sewing needlework canvas to wooden embroidery scroll frames.
Story
For centuries, embroiderers had to painstakingly hand-baste canvas onto wooden bars before starting a project. In the late 1990s, American Dream Products transformed needlepoint by using hook-and-loop tape for instant mounting.
Maker / Origin
American Dream Products, based in Washington state, became a beloved fixture among cross-stitchers and quilters for creating modular wooden lap stands, scroll frames, and ingenious tension systems. Their E-Z Stitch line remains an active standard in modern needlecrafting under Embassy Embroidery.
Condition & Value
Appears unopened in original vintage plastic retail packaging with header card intact. Packaging shows slight shelf wear, but the tape roll is unused. New-old-stock condition retains full utility value.
