Released for Disney's massive 15-month Millennium Celebration starting in late 1999, this souvenir captured a global moment of hope. The design cleverly splits Spaceship Earth down the center, opening up to reveal the optimistic slogan 'Celebrate the Future Hand in Hand'. It is a physical time capsule of the Y2K era's futuristic aesthetic.

Created directly for Walt Disney Attractions to be sold exclusively within the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Disney's in-house merchandise designers during this era were tasked with creating highly interactive, sculptural souvenirs that moved away from standard flat graphics into dimensional, functional art.
