Maker / Origin
Coldspot was Sears, Roebuck & Co.'s premier refrigeration brand from 1928 until the late 1970s, famously redesigned in the 1930s by industrial design pioneer Raymond Loewy. Most mid-to-late century Coldspot appliances were built under contract by the Whirlpool Corporation, known for virtually indestructible mechanical compressors.
