Story
During the 1930s, American pottery houses in the 'Clay Corridor' of Ohio were competing to bring a sense of affordable luxury to homes during the Great Depression.
Maker / Origin
While this piece is unsigned, its form and glaze are highly consistent with the output of the Hull Pottery Company or Weller Pottery.
Condition & Value
The glaze appears to be in excellent condition with very little 'crazing' (fine cracks) visible. There are no obvious chips to the delicate leaf handles, which is rare for pieces of this age. The presence of the original firing vent hole is a good sign of authentic period manufacturing.
