It features his signature 'RHP' monogram mark alongside 'STERLING' on the reverse, showcasing the clean, organic lines that defined the American studio jewelry movement.
Story
Handcrafted during the height of the Mid-Century Modern movement, this brooch represents a time when American studio jewelers rejected traditional gemstone-heavy designs to treat precious metal as wearable, abstract sculpture.
Maker / Origin
Ronald Hayes Pearson (1924–1996) was a pioneer of mid-century American studio jewelry and a founding member of the School for American Craftsmen at RIT. His work is highly collectible and is held in permanent collections worldwide, including the Smithsonian Institution and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
