Overview
A charming porcelain miniature designed as a teapot, featuring a hinged lid and a delicate blue-and-white floral chintz pattern.
Story
During the 1990s, a massive revival of Victorian-inspired decor swept through American homes, led by brands that specialized in romantic, floral giftware.
Maker / Origin
Baum Brothers (Baum Bros) is a multi-generational family business based in New York that became a powerhouse in the late 20th-century giftware market.
Condition & Value
The porcelain appears to be in excellent condition with no visible chips or 'crazing' (fine cracks in the glaze). The gold luster on the spout shows very little wear, and the hinge appears well-aligned. Excellent condition is standard for these as they were usually kept behind glass.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
