While unsigned, this table was produced by a high-end cabinetmaking workshop active during the late Victorian or Edwardian revival periods. These workshops employed master carvers who specialized in recreating the demanding, delicate openwork designs popularized by Thomas Chippendale's 1754 director.

Condition & Value

The table appears to be in very good condition with the highly vulnerable pierced gallery and lower stretcher intact. There is minor surface wear consistent with age, but no obvious major breaks in the delicate fretwork. Excellent preservation of these fragile elements supports the higher end of the value range.
