This is a beautifully preserved triangular porcelain ashtray featuring the iconic Masonic Square and Compasses emblem at its center. Produced by Lefton China, it features hand-painted gold-sponged trim along its scalloped edges and three dual cigarette rests, combining mid-century smoking culture with fraternal pride.
Story
George Zoltan Lefton, a Hungarian immigrant who fled to Chicago in 1939, built an empire importing exquisite Japanese porcelain after WWII. This piece was custom-made for a Freemason's study, where secret handshakes met mid-century social hours.

The ashtray is in very good vintage condition with excellent glaze retention. There is minor wear to the gold-sponged rim and a partially torn silver foil label on the underside, but no visible chips, cracks, or crazing. Excellent condition preserves the maximum value for collectors.
