Overview
A beautifully sculpted, four-footed oval glass centerpiece bowl featuring a deeply embossed fruit harvest motif. The exterior is treated with a soft, satin-frosted finish that contrasts elegantly with the polished, scalloped clear glass rim.
Story
Mid-century American tables were transformed by Indiana Glass, who brought affordable luxury to everyday homes. This harvest pattern celebrated post-war agricultural abundance, turning a simple fruit bowl into a sculptural centerpiece.
Maker / Origin
Founded in Dunkirk, Indiana in 1907, the Indiana Glass Company became a giant of American utility and decorative glassware. They were famous for their pressed glass patterns, carnival glass, and frosted 'satin' finishes that mimicked expensive European art glass.
Condition & Value
The bowl appears to be in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips to the delicate scalloped rim or the four peg feet. The frosted satin finish remains clean and free of major scuffs or oil staining. Excellent condition preserves its full decorative value.
