Overview
A pair of exquisite, hand-blown art glass pumpkins featuring a larger opaque white gourd and a smaller, richly textured iridescent cranberry-amber gourd. Both are crowned with beautifully coiled, ribbed metallic-gold glass stems that showcase exceptional hot-shop control.
Story
Crafted in a historic Massachusetts mill town, these pumpkins transform a humble autumn harvest symbol into permanent, light-catching sculpture. Each piece is entirely unique, shaped by the artist's breath and rapid movements before the molten glass cools.
Maker / Origin
Luke Adams graduated from the prestigious glass program at the Rochester Institute of Technology before establishing his own studio in Norwood, Massachusetts. Known for accessible yet highly skilled studio glass, his workshop has become famous for seasonal glass gourds that combine traditional Italian techniques with contemporary American color palettes.
Condition & Value
Both pumpkins appear to be in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or flea bites to the delicate coiled stems or the ribbed bodies. The original paper label on the cranberry pumpkin is partially intact. Excellent condition preserves the full decorative value.
