During the 1980s, the Memphis Group design movement shattered rules with bold colors and geometric shapes. These plates capture that rebellious energy, turning everyday tableware into a canvas of wearable modern art.

Maker / Origin

While these plates do not bear an immediately recognizable factory mark, they represent the thriving studio pottery and boutique design movement of the late 20th century. Independent ceramicists and small design houses frequently produced limited runs of hand-painted art pottery to supply high-end design boutiques and gallery shops.

Condition & Value

The plates appear to be in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips, cracks, or major glaze loss. The fine crazing visible in the white/cream sections appears to be an intentional decorative crackle glaze. Excellent condition helps maintain their value as display-worthy art pieces.
