Story
In 1947, the David White Company revolutionized home photography by introducing the Stereo Realist system. Maker / Origin
The Stereo Realist system was designed by Seton Rochwite and manufactured by the David White Company (later Realist, Inc.) of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Originally known for making precision surveying instruments, the company applied their optical expertise to consumer cameras, sparking a massive post-war 3D photography boom that even captivated Hollywood stars like Harold Lloyd and Jimmy Stewart.
Condition & Value
The Bakelite body of the viewer appears to be in excellent cosmetic condition with no visible cracks or deep scratches. The original cardboard box shows some light edge wear and minor scuffing but retains vibrant color and structural integrity. The instruction booklet is intact with minor handling wear.
