Arcade Manufacturing Company was founded in Freeport, Illinois, in 1885 and became famous for its heavy cast iron toys stamped with the slogan 'They Look Real.' Arcade held exclusive licensing agreements with major American corporations like Greyhound, Ford, and International Harvester, turning everyday industrial icons into beloved childhood playthings.

Condition & Value

Shows moderate surface wear, paint loss, and rusting consistent with age and play. The roof decal lettering and side labels remain largely legible, and the original black rubber tires are intact. Minor paint loss lowers value relative to mint museum-grade examples, but original parts add stability.
