Overview
A rare set of five vintage double-sided cardboard beer coasters from the iconic Rose & Crown Pub in EPCOT Center's United Kingdom Pavilion.
Story
EPCOT Center opened its gates on October 1, 1982, introducing a revolutionary concept of global unity. These coasters were right there at the tables of the United Kingdom pavilion, designed to give American tourists an authentic taste of British pub culture from day one.
Maker / Origin
These coasters were produced for Walt Disney Productions to furnish the Rose & Crown Pub, which was designed in collaboration with British brewers to ensure absolute architectural and cultural authenticity. The 'Walt Disney Productions' copyright mark dates these specifically to the park's earliest years, before the company transitioned to 'The Walt Disney Company' in 1986.
Condition & Value
The coasters show light edge wear and minor surface scuffs consistent with age and light use. One Bass-branded coaster has a noticeable white scratch/scuff mark on the reverse side. Overall, they remain bright, unfaded, and free of major water staining, which is excellent for vintage paper ephemera.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
