In 1958, Hyo Ick Min founded Samick in war-torn South Korea with a vision to bring music back to his country. By the 1980s, his workshop had grown into one of the world's largest, most sophisticated piano manufacturers.

Maker / Origin

Samick began as a small distributor before evolving into a manufacturing powerhouse, eventually collaborating with legendary German piano designer Klaus Fenner to improve their scale designs. Today, Samick is one of the most respected names in production-grade pianos, known for producing instruments with excellent structural stability and bright, clear tones.

Condition & Value

The exterior high-gloss ebony finish appears well-preserved with minor surface dust and no major visible chips. The keys are aligned and show no obvious warping, though an internal inspection by a technician is required to assess the pinblock, hammers, and soundboard. Regular tuning will be necessary after moving.
