Story
In 1973, the guitar world witnessed a quiet but significant merger when the American giant C.F. Martin & Co. purchased the Swedish workshop of Levin.
Maker / Origin
Herman Carlson Levin learned his trade in America before returning to Sweden in 1900 to establish what would become Europe's most respected guitar factory.
Condition & Value
The guitar appears to be in good vintage condition with original hardware and the correct 'The Special Sound' label. There is light play wear and minor finish checking consistent with a 50-year-old instrument. The bridge pins and snowflake inlays appear well-preserved.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
