Overview
A robust, double-socket table lamp base featuring a dark bronze-toned finish and classic Mission-style architectural lines. This piece is a modern tribute to the American Arts and Crafts movement, designed to support heavy stained-glass or mica shades.
Story
Quoizel began in 1930, right as the Great Depression hit, surviving by creating high-quality lamps that felt like heirlooms. This base carries the DNA of the 1900s Arts and Crafts movement, which valued honest labor over factory speed.
Maker / Origin
Founded by the Chaikin family in New York, Quoizel moved to South Carolina in 1996 and became world-renowned for their Tiffany-style reproductions. They are one of the few lighting companies that successfully bridged the gap between antique aesthetics and modern safety standards.
Condition & Value
The finish shows some surface dust and minor age-related wear to the bronze coating. The pull chains appear intact, but the socket insulators should be checked for brittleness. Clean condition maintains the higher end of the range.
