Maker / Origin

Perception Kayaks, founded in South Carolina, pioneered the rotomolding process for kayaks in the 1970s, making them virtually indestructible. Wilderness Systems, founded in North Carolina in 1986, quickly became legendary for their innovative, comfortable seat designs and tracking hulls.

Condition & Value

The hulls show typical cosmetic scuffing and scraping from launching and landing, which is normal for polyethylene boats. The plastic does not appear to have major UV fading or warping, but the interior foam pillars, seats, and foot pegs should be checked for dry rot or damage.
