While these specific figures are unsigned, they are carved in the direct tradition of legendary masters like Emil Janel and Trygve Hammer. This style of carving was popularized in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, where artists used a single pocketknife to bring blocky pieces of wood to life with incredible personality.

Condition & Value

The figures are in very good vintage condition with original paint intact. There is minor paint wear on the edges and some light dust accumulation in the crevices, which is typical for their age. Excellent preservation of the original paint colors preserves their value.
