Overview
A classic example of Swiss luxury, this quilted leather handbag features an iconic diamond-stitched pattern and a signature gold-tone turn-lock closure.
Story
Bally began in a basement in Schönenwerd, Switzerland, in 1851, originally manufacturing ribbons before pivoting to world-class leather goods.
Maker / Origin
Carl Franz Bally founded the company after being inspired by a pair of lace-up booties he bought for his wife in Paris. Bally is one of the world's oldest luxury brands, even predating many of the famous French fashion houses.
Condition & Value
The leather appears well-preserved with only minor surface scuffing consistent with light use. The gold-tone hardware shows minimal hairline scratches but retains its original brilliance. The structural shape of the bag remains strong, which is a key factor in maintaining its market value.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
