Known as 'Furniture City,' Grand Rapids factories combined industrial machinery with skilled hand-carving to mass-produce high-quality oak furniture that was shipped across the expanding nation via the railroad network.

The sideboard appears to be in very good antique condition with a warm, well-preserved original or early finish.
