Overview
This is a striking example of American industrial art pottery featuring a vibrant, mottled raspberry-red glaze with subtle teal-blue highlights.
Story
East Liverpool, Ohio, was once known as the 'Pottery Capital of the World,' and Knowles, Taylor & Knowles was its undisputed king. This vase was produced during the company's final years, as the weight of the Great Depression began to crush even the largest industrial giants.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1854 by Isaac Knowles, KTK became the largest pottery in the United States, employing over 700 people at its peak.
Condition & Value
The vase appears to be in very good vintage condition with no visible cracks or major chips. There is minor shelf wear on the unglazed foot ring and a few tiny 'pinholes' in the glaze, which are original firing flaws common to this era of production. Excellent preservation of the high-gloss finish.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
