Albert Weiss worked at Coro before establishing his own costume jewelry manufacturing firm in New York in 1942. Weiss was renowned for high standards of craftsmanship, utilizing prong-set Austrian glass rhinestones and innovative cabochons. The company closed its doors in 1971, making signed original pieces highly collectible today.
