Introduced during the Great Depression, this radical circular design brought high-art Streamline Moderne styling straight into the everyday American kitchen. Its sweeping, aerodynamic handle made it look like it was moving fast while sitting perfectly still on a breakfast table.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1893, the Hall China Company became world-renowned after developing a secret, single-fire glazing process in 1911 that fused the clay and glaze together at 2,400 degrees Fahrenheit. This lead-free process made their teapots uniquely durable, non-porous, and craze-proof, establishing Hall as the premier teapot manufacturer in America.
Condition & Value
The teapot appears to be in excellent vintage condition with very little wear to the gold gilt trim and floral stenciling. There are no obvious chips, cracks, or crazing visible in the photos. Excellent preservation of the gold overlay commands a premium.
