Overview
A classic example of mid-century Swiss horology, this Omega Genève features a brushed sunburst dial and a sleek, tonneau-style stainless steel case.
Story
In the late 1960s, while Omega's Speedmaster was making history on the moon, the Genève line was conquering the wrists of the stylish professional back on Earth.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt, Omega has become one of the most recognized watch brands in the world, serving as the official timekeeper of the Olympics since 1932.
Condition & Value
The dial shows some light spotting or 'patina' near the 9 o'clock position, and the case has minor surface scratches consistent with age. The strap is a modern replacement. A professional service is recommended to ensure the mechanical movement is lubricated and accurate.

Build on this identification
Layer in sold comps, value drivers, and venue guidance.
Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
