Maker / Origin
Utagawa Kunisada II (1823–1880), initially known as Baido Kunimasa III, married into the prestigious Utagawa school and inherited the lineage of the master Utagawa Kunisada (Toyokuni III). He was celebrated for his depictions of beautiful women (bijin-ga), actors (yakusha-e), and elaborate multi-panel narrative series like the 'Rustic Genji'.

The three panels appear joined or mounted alongside one another, with visible vertical seam gaps, minor toning, edge handling, and light paper creasing typical of 19th-century prints; well-preserved colors retain strong decorative and collector value.
