Jonette Jewelry Company was founded in 1935 by Abraham Lisker in Providence, Rhode Island, the historic jewelry manufacturing capital of America. Originally called the Providence Jewelry Company and later Lisker & Lisker, the company adopted the 'JJ' trademark in the mid-1940s and produced charming, highly collectible costume pieces until closing in 2006.
