Overview
This is a special-edition iridescent glass shade or epergne horn produced in 2005 to celebrate Fenton's 100th anniversary (1905–2005). Crafted in an opalescent rosy-lavender carnival/iridescent glass with crimped ruffles, it bears both the sandblasted Fenton Centennial logo and a custom inscription for the Pacific Northwest Fenton Association (PNWFA).
Story
In 2005, Fenton celebrated a century of American glassmaking with special commemorative pieces. This custom-etched shade was made specifically for the Pacific Northwest Fenton Association club.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1905 by Frank L. Fenton and his brothers in Williamstown, West Virginia, Fenton became one of America's most beloved and prolific art glass manufacturers. Renowned for their mastery of carnival glass, opalescent glass, and ruffled rims, the company maintained traditional hand-pressed and hand-blown artisan methods until factory closure in 2011.
