Story
Discovered in 1904, Queen Nefertari's tomb revealed breathtaking wall paintings of her journey to the afterlife. This modern plaque recreates the sacred moment the goddess Isis takes the queen's hand to guide her into eternity.
Maker / Origin
Crafted by skilled artisans in the Al-Gourna region near Luxor, Egypt, where stone-carving traditions have been passed down for generations. These workshops use locally quarried Egyptian alabaster to create souvenirs and fine replicas for travelers visiting the ancient Valley of the Kings.
Condition & Value
The plaque appears to be in very good vintage condition with no major chips or cracks. The artificially aged surface, minor scuffs, and rough-hewn edges are intentional design choices meant to replicate an ancient fragment. Excellent preservation of the hand-painted pigments.
