During the mid-20th century, companies like Miracle Equipment Co. and GameTime pioneered the use of molded fiberglass for commercial parks. They hired artists to sculpt friendly animals, rocket ships, and abstract shapes that encouraged imaginative play. These durable, colorful creations became iconic landmarks in suburban parks across North America.

Condition & Value

The kangaroo shows significant weathering, surface dirt, and fading consistent with decades of outdoor exposure. There is some minor chipping on the ears and rust on the metal access hatch, but the main fiberglass body appears structurally intact.
