Overview
This is a refined Omega Constellation from the 'Quartz Crisis' era, featuring a rare and highly sought-after 'sparkle' or sand-textured dial.
Story
The 1970s were a time of upheaval for Swiss watchmaking as electronic quartz technology from Japan threatened to make traditional mechanical watches obsolete.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1848 by Louis Brandt, Omega has grown from a small workshop into the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games and the first watch on the moon.
Condition & Value
The dial appears to be in excellent condition with no visible spotting or 'foxing.' The case shows some expected light scratches and minor wear to the gold plating on the lug edges, and the case back has some tool marks from previous battery changes. The movement looks clean and well-preserved.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
