This is a slide-lid cedar cabinet (SLB) of 25 Cohiba Robustos, one of the most prestigious and widely recognized vitolas in the Cuban cigar world. Featuring the iconic yellow, white, and black Taíno Indian head bands and official Republic of Cuba warranty seal, these cigars represent Cuba's flagship luxury tobacco brand.
Story
Created in 1966 exclusively for Fidel Castro and visiting diplomats, Cohiba was kept secret from the public until 1982. Its leaves undergo an exclusive third barrel fermentation, creating an unmatched aroma.
Maker / Origin
Cohiba was established in 1966 at the secretive El Laguito mansion in Havana, originally rolled by master torcedor Eduardo Rivera. It stands as the premier brand of Habanos S.A., renowned globally for using only the finest selection from the top five vegas de primera in the Vuelta Abajo region.
Condition & Value
The slide-lid box, cedar separator, and ribbon appear intact, and the cigars retain their original bands. However, long-term unhumidified storage can dry out the essential oils and cause wrappers to crack; maintaining proper relative humidity (65–70%) is critical to preserving their value.
