Overview
An iconic, award-winning circular wireless speaker designed by Øivind Alexander Slaatto to blend seamlessly into home interiors like a piece of fine furniture. Supported by three elegant wooden or aluminum legs, it features a minimalist fabric-covered front and a beautifully patterned acoustic backplate bearing the classic B&O logo.
Story
Launched in 2012, this speaker was designed to look like a beautiful piece of furniture rather than a black box of tech. Designer Øivind Slaatto wanted a perfect circle because sound travels in circles, marrying form and function.
Maker / Origin
Founded in Denmark in 1925 by Peter Bang and Svend Olufsen, the brand has spent nearly a century defining the intersection of high-end acoustic engineering and avant-garde industrial design. Their pieces are so culturally significant that several are held in the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Condition & Value
The speaker appears to be in very good cosmetic condition with clean front fabric and intact legs. The rear casing shows minor dust in the acoustic perforations but no major scuffs. Excellent cosmetic condition commands a premium, though functionality must be tested.
