Overview
A whimsical and vibrant double bud vase featuring two anthropomorphic blue frogs serenading from a yellow fluted perch.
Story
During the late 1930s and 1940s, Arkansas became an unlikely center for ceramic innovation when Camark Pottery began producing these delightful, singing amphibians.
Maker / Origin
Camark Pottery was founded in 1926 by Jack Carnes, who revolutionized the industry by bringing European 'luster' techniques to the American South.
Condition & Value
The piece shows significant age-related crazing throughout the yellow glaze, which is expected for this type of pottery. There is some visible shelf wear on the unglazed bottom of the feet, but the figures appear intact without major chips or repairs. The crazing is stable and does not significantly detract from the display value.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
