Maker / Origin

Jingdezhen has been the beating heart of Chinese porcelain production for over a thousand years, once supplying the imperial court of the Ming and Qing dynasties. In the mid-20th century, the state-run factories modernized these ancient techniques, utilizing highly skilled factory artisans to hand-decorate porcelain for international export.

Condition & Value

The porcelain body and lid appear to be in excellent condition with no visible chips, cracks, or major enamel loss. The wrapped bamboo handle is intact, though the wire loops show minor oxidation consistent with age. Excellent preservation of the turquoise glaze and hand-painted details.
