Maker / Origin

Arcade Manufacturing Company of Freeport, Illinois, was renowned for its heavy, durable cast-iron toys under the slogan 'They Look Just Like the Real Thing!' Founded in the late 19th century, Arcade produced some of the most faithful miniature replicas of contemporary vehicles and appliances until WWII metal restrictions essentially ended cast-iron toy production.

Condition & Value

Shows honest play wear, scattered paint loss, and edge chipping consistent with an original pre-war toy, along with minor surface oxidation on the wheels. Original paint wear reduces value somewhat compared to mint examples, but authenticity remains intact.
