Overview
This striking bud vase features a 'slag' or marbled effect, blending cobalt and opaque white glass into a fluid, celestial pattern.
Story
In the fiery workshops of West Virginia, glassmakers perfected the art of 'slag' glass by intentionally mixing different colored glass batches to create these unique, marble-like streaks.
Maker / Origin
Founded in 1905 by brothers Frank and John Fenton, the Fenton Art Glass Company became the largest manufacturer of handmade colored glass in the United States.
Condition & Value
The vase appears to be in excellent vintage condition with no visible chips or 'flea bites' on the ruffled edges. The satin finish looks consistent without significant staining or 'slick' spots from over-handling. Excellent preservation of the matte surface helps maintain its value.

Comparable demand stays strongest where maker, originality, and venue confidence line up. Broader examples still trade, but the range tightens quickly when provenance, condition, or selling lane fit is missing.
