Maker / Origin
Produced in the famed porcelain centers of Arita/Saga Prefecture, pieces of this type drew heavy inspiration from the ultra-exclusive Nabeshima kilns, which originally created porcelain strictly for the ruling Tokugawa shogunate and noble gifts rather than open trade.
