In 1900, Gustav Stickley shocked the Victorian world by introducing furniture that celebrated honest construction over fussy ornament. This dining set represents the enduring legacy of that design revolution, built to survive generations of family gatherings.
Maker / Origin
The Stickley brothers—Gustav, Leopold, and John George—were the premier champions of the American Arts and Crafts movement. While Gustav's original firm closed in 1916, Leopold and John George's company survived, eventually being revitalized in 1974 by the Audi family, who meticulously reissued the historic, heavy-oak designs to the original specifications.
Condition & Value
The set appears to be in very good to excellent condition with beautiful, rich coloration to the oak. There is minor, expected scuffing around the base of the table legs and feet from vacuuming and chairs, which is typical and does not hurt the value.
