Story
During the 18th century, the Qianlong Emperor demanded porcelain that pushed the boundaries of clay and color. Maker / Origin
While bearing the imperial mark of the Qianlong Emperor, this vase was crafted by highly skilled 20th-century artisans in Jingdezhen, the porcelain capital of China. These workshops dedicated themselves to replicating the complex, multi-layered glazing techniques of the imperial court to satisfy a global demand for classic Chinese aesthetics.
