Overview
A pristine, factory-sealed deck of souvenir playing cards from the legendary Tropicana Las Vegas. Featuring the classic blue diamond-back pattern and the resort's iconic retro-style logo, this deck represents the golden era of Sin City hospitality before the historic resort's closure in 2024.
Story
Opened in 1957, the Tropicana was known as the 'Tiffany of the Strip' and had deep ties to the mob. This deck, featuring their early-2000s website and toll-free number, is a tangible piece of a resort that was demolished in 2024.
Maker / Origin
While the specific card manufacturer (such as US Playing Card Co. or Gemaco) is sealed inside, these cards were custom-commissioned for the Tropicana Las Vegas. The Tropicana was one of the longest-running casino-resorts on the Strip, famous for its lush tropical themes, showgirls, and high-stakes history.
Condition & Value
The deck is in excellent, unused condition, still sealed in its original factory cellophane wrapping. There is no visible crushing to the corners of the tuck box, preserving its collectible value perfectly. Excellent sealed condition commands a premium.
